Finding your Kitchen Printer’s IP

  1. To begin with, you are going to make sure your kitchen printer is off, when you have made sure that is the case, we shall begin.
  2. You will need to power on your printer and hold the ‘feed’ button simultaneously, this will configure the printer and print off a piece of paper that gives you the entire internal information.
  3. Finally, you will look at the printer receipt and copy the IP address written on it. It is suggested that you copy this down on a post-it or something similar and store it somewhere safe.
  4. Now you have your IP address and other important internal information!

  • If your POS is on the same network as the printer, you can go into the Basil POS app settings and search for printers to show printer IP’s.
