Equipment Needed:
- KP device
- Router (provided by POSBASIL)
- Ethernet cable
Step 1 – Connect the Router
- Use the provided Ethernet cable to connect the POSBASIL router to the merchant’s ISP router.
- Power on the KP device.
Step 2 – Connect POS to the Correct Wi-Fi
- On the POS, connect to the Wi-Fi network POSBASL (this is the router we provided, not the merchant’s own router).
- The Wi-Fi password should be provided to the merchant.
- If the password is unknown, follow the steps below to locate it.

Find the Wi-Fi Password
- On Mission control , select the Pen icon to edit/view merchant settings.

- Scroll down to the Equipment section.

- The password should be listed in the Equipment box.
Step 3 – Configure the Printer
- Go to POS Settings.
- Select Printer.
- The printer’s IP address should appear and be connected automatically.
- If it is not connected, manually select the IP address to connect the printer.
See instructions below to find the correct IP.
Finding the Correct IP Address
- Power off the printer.
- Press and hold the Feed button (triangular button).
- While holding the button, power the printer back on.
- Release the button when it starts printing.
- The printer will print a configuration receipt — the IP address will be listed there.
