Some restaurants need to get their Sales Categorized by Food and Liquor/Alcohol for tax purposes, this report doesn’t include taxes or fees.

1. From backoffice go to Reports -> Sales
2. Select the Dates
3. Open Filter By
4. To obtain the Food Sales, select all Categories with Food Items ( this normally includes desserts, and regular drinks)
5. To obtain the Liquor Sales, select all Categories with Alcohol (ex. Liquor, Spirits, Tequila, Rum, Alcohol Drinks, etc)
6. Ask the Merchant if Liquor should include Beer or they need it separate.
7. Some merchants have a Custom Category, ask merchant where this category belongs: Food or Liquor
8. Export these reports and send to merchant
