# Creating and Using Discounts

1. Navigate to [BasilBackOffice](http://basilbackoffice.com).
2. Select “Menu” then press the “Discounts” button.
3. Here you can see all discounts created, in the top right click “+Discount” to add a new discount.
4. Enter the name you would like the discount to be called and fill the rest of the information. This example (Employee Discount, Percentage, 10) will show on the POS payment screen as “Employee Discount” button that will take 10% off total.
