Make sure your card reader is out of the box and ready to plug in.
Option 1 is to plug it into the POS itself. To do this you simply need to find the male USB Adapter and plug it into any of the USB ports on the POS device.
Option 2 is to plug the male USB Adapter into your provided outlet power box. Then plug it into the wall.
(You will know that the Card Reader is receiving power when the red light turns on)
