Connecting a Cash Drawer to a POS

  1. Position your cash drawer and POS device where you would like.
  2. Take the USB or Phone cable to the cash drawer and plug the cord into the bottom of the POS device.
  3. Currently, Android requires permissions to use USB or phone cable connection. To allow these, go to settings on the POS, then ‘manual cash drawer open’. This will give you a message asking you to accept permissions to use a USB or phone cable. Accept all permissions then your cash drawer is good to go.

  • The cash drawer comes with keys to manually open the cash drawer if needed.
