- Go to basilbackoffice.com and log in with your merchant credentials.
- From the left menu, open the Devices drop-down → select Active POS.
- A list of activated POS devices will appear.
- Find your POS by the device name (either the default or the name you set in POS Settings).
- Example: “Terminal” was our POS device name that was deactivated.
- Find your POS by the device name (either the default or the name you set in POS Settings).
- On the POS device:
- Check the box “Logging in to an existing Device?”
- Enter your Merchant ID and the Auth Code that was originally assigned to the device.
- Example: Merchant ID: BASILDEMO3702 / Auth Code: 688762
- Check the box “Logging in to an existing Device?”
- Log in → Your device is now reactivated.
Tip:
If you can’t find the device name when reactivating, just generate a new Auth Code. On the POS login screen, leave “Logging in to an existing Device?” unchecked, then enter your Merchant ID and the new Auth Code to reactivate.
Additional
- If you are reactivating a device but cannot find the device name, you can generate a new Auth Code still but do not check the ‘Logging in to an existing Device?’ box.
